Lovely scene from a country road near Fairdale, PA. 'County Seat, 5" x 18" was painted from a photo. It might be fun to paint this en plein aire, would have to get some sun protection though, no trees at this location. and it probably would take a few days. It would be an 45 minute trip just one way from our home, some day though. At least we can take photos and paint late at night. This is most definately "Best of Show." Congratulations! It deserves the ribbon it won at the fair. It was nice to see it in progress too.
