Dark object study was great fun. No blacks were used in this, I do not have black on my palette.Used mostly indigo, aliz crimson, ultramarine blue, highlighted with ceruleum blue where I didn't want bright white of the paper showing through. Love indigo just by itself, it is a stainer though. The study was started at Emanual/Teitsworth study and background completed at home. This may be fun to try again and painted a little looser. 9" x 12"
