Finally a painting to add to my blog, long, long time in coming! Sweet Song Sparrows trying to feed in the winter. They would all fly to the feeder in our back yard and then fly back in a group to the safety of the trees. I loved watching them. The painting actually was taken from many photos with our new camera, lots of action that I tried to show in their different wing positions. Another wonderful thought on the sparrows is that they sing and I can hear them even through the closed winter windows. I do hope they come back this winter. Some have stayed around for the summer and get along with my other feathered friends. Larger then I have been painting 18" x 24"
