I had a thrilling time taking photos of a Mute Swan pair last summer. This was the female and I was given a few tidbits of info from the gentleman who let me take a few photos. He fed the pair so they would come closer for my photos. The females neck is larger and she is very territorial. Will not let her older offspring near her male partner now that they are older. The people around this lake had brought the swans in as they were having trouble with so many geese, the swans now have chased most of them away. Maybe I will get to take a few more photos this year.
