Tulip grouping

Spring always comes, sometimes it takes it time, sometimes it sneaks in, sometimes it arrives right on time as it did this year at least here in our area. I have been waiting for Spring since the beginning of January. Tulips are one of my favorite spring flowers, hard to grow in our yard due to the deer. How they love to wait until the tulip bud is perfect to bloom and when you check the next day, it is gone, consumed by those beautiful graceful creatures. Guess the tulips are one of their favorites too. I love the darker right tulip hidden under the brilliant group, maybe it is hiding from those graceful creatures. This actually was painted from a photo since it is still too cold to paint outside. "Tulips" 10"x14"
