Resting

This buck was a beauty and just resting in our yard. He looked like an older gentleman with his darken muzzle or was this just the beginning of the grey winter coat.  He was resting as a doe was sleeping in our yard also just eight feet away, guess he was just waiting.  They stayed there for almost five hours and many photos were taken from our windows so not to disturb them.  I am sure he had things on his mind pertaining to this doe as this was Autumn as can be assumed by the coloring of the fallen leaves.  Also there was another buck at the other end of our yard.  Three beautiful animals at once.  What a thrill.  Maybe a panorama painting will come out of this. This again is a small painting 8"x 10"  Getting back into painting as I have been only doing little bits here and there.  This was fun, glad it turned out nicely as it makes one want to paint more.
